DCMX is a chatbot for WinMX that can output text based on triggers typed in the chatroom. DCMX replaces ctrlWinamp which is no longer supported. An upgrade to latest DCMX version is highly recommended for all ctrlWinamp users and those with previous versions of DCMX.

NOTE: this program has become less user friendly!
Only people who have a good knowledge of computers should use it!

Commands can be typed in WinMX's EditBox or the App's EditBox.

You have to set the path to winamp.exe in the config.cfg file.

You have to set the bot's name in mxbot.cfg on the first line.

To set triggers/responses in mxbot.cfg the format is:
"trigger", "response", "compare"
Compare is either a one or zero,
One means text-compare (case-insensitive),
Zero means binary-compare (case-sensitive)
You can use variables in the config file, currently only two are supported:
%botname% and %username%

If you change any of the config files you do not have to restart the program, simply use the "Reload Config" menu option.

To have the bot ignore users, create a text file in the same directory as the program and name it "ignore.cfg", put all the usernames you want the bot to ignore in it, one name each line, make sure that the last line of the file is a name. and DO NOT put only a 0 on the first line(this disables ignore) Usernames do not include the "_" or last 5 numbers (userid)

Commands are not case sensitive.

Commands:

Type !NAME [your name] to set away name.
Type !AFK [reason] to set away.
Type !BACK to set back.
Type !DISK to display disk space
Type !MEMORY to display memory information
Type !LAG to check lag.
Type !UPTIME to display system uptime.
Type !SONG to display current song.
Type !AUTO to toggle auto-display of the current song.
Type !CPUINFO to display cpu information
Type !OSINFO to display operating system information
Type !WA_START to start winamp.exe instance.
More Winamp commands are displayed in the App's ListBox.

To use botcommands in the chatroom type %botname% %command%
For example: "krishbot !uptime" would display system uptime in the chatroom.
There is one botcommand that cannot be accessed from a menu command:
Type %botname% !SEARCH %SearchString% to display a link to google.
%SearchString% is what you want to search for on google, for example:
"krishbot !search playstation 2" would result in:
http://www.google.com/search?q=playstation+2

ctrlWinamp has been replaced by DCMX which uses DraconisMX (included) to connect to a room.
